The first section "Discipleship - Some Observations" is an exploration of the topic. I have found a thread of truth. I seem to find more committed disciples in twelve step programs than I do in Christian churches. This puzzles me and so in the first section of this paper I wander about exploring bits and pieces of this puzzle. I believe that the discipline of exploring a topic is a valuable technique. My goal is for this section to demonstrate that technique.
The second section "Discipleship - a Dynamic Process" is the summation of the gems of knowledge that I found while practicing the discipline of study required to write the first section. I did not use footnotes in this paper because this is a background paper - not designed for publication. But I include a bibliography in this section anyway because I plan to use this section as a stand-alone document.
The third section contains my thoughts regarding what to do next. This is my planning document. I believe that each iteration through a process should end with planning for the next iteration.
