PMP Study Materials

You definitely need a copy of the PMBOK. If you join the Project Management Institute (PMI) then they will send you a copy of the PMBOK on a CD. I like having the electronic copy available, but I found it easier to study with a hard copy. I recommend you read it at least three times.

The book that I strongly recommend is PMP: Project Management Professional Study Guide, 3rd Edition by Kim Heldman.

In my opinion, the best practice tests are available through Rita Mulcahy at http://www.rmcproject.com/product/prep.htm . Several friends have signed up for the two day on-line class and they recommend it. Signing up for that class gives you access to the on-line practice tests.

I also used Rita Mulcahy's audio materials while driving. Look for Hot Topics Flashcards for Passing the PMP and CAPM Exams (Audio Version).

I like to include my web site in this list http://www.robertperrine.biz. Look in the link labeled "Projects" and you will find my PMP prep materials. I hope you find them useful.

Good luck on your test. Send me an email if there is something else I can help you with.
